Nigeria: Mercy Corps Strengthens Peacebuilding Efforts for Women, Youths in Katsina Communities

Women and youth from four Local Government Areas of Katsina State have begun a four-day training aimed at strengthening their capacity to prevent conflicts, resolve disputes, and promote peaceful management of community resources.

The training, which commenced on Monday in Katsina, is organised under the European Union-funded Conflict Prevention, Crisis Response and Resilience (CPCRR) Programme, implemented by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), Mercy Corps, and the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD).
